HARELEESHILL COMMUNITY GARDEN

At Larkhall Community Growers, we are dedicated to using our garden to empower our community. Within our garden we offer training courses for all ages focussing on garden activities. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

We are currently looking for a Garden Development Officer to help within the community garden, find out more and apply:

THE COALYARD

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we have began working with The Coalyard. This is a two year transition programme which provides training education for individuals with learning difficulties or significant additional support needs. The Coalyard provides an ideal environment to support people with disabilities in the workplace.We have taken responsibility of the garden and raised beds to make the courtyard area welcoming for patrons and visitors using the laundry and tearoom services.

OUTDOOR CLASSROOM

Our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need and provide resources to help empower those in our community. Our outdoor classroom is located in the children's Wildlife Garden is a space where children can come to learn more about nature and the environment. 

This space must be booked in advance.  

OUR LARKHALL - YOUR VOICE MATTERS

Our Larkhall is a community engagement exercise aimed to gather the views of local people on life within the villages of Larkhall, Netherburn, Ashgill and Dalserf.

The consultation spanned 8 weeks and resulted in a over 1800 responses.


The priorities from the survey identify the things that are most important to the community.
