HELP US SAVE THE LAST BANK IN LARKHALL

As you may be aware, the last bank in Larkhall is set to permanently close in January 2026. The closure of this branch will seriously impact residents, local businesses, and rural communities in and around Larkhall — particularly older people, those with mobility or transport challenges, and those facing digital exclusion.

We believe this decision contradicts the principles of fairness, accessibility, and community wellbeing set out in national policy frameworks, including the Place and Wellbeing Outcomes and the Scottish Government’s Place Principle.
