Within the garden, we offer training courses, for all age groups, focussing on all related gardening activities, and are currently piloting a Community Awards Scheme with Kelvin College.

The Coalyard, Caledonian Road

The Coalyard is a two year full time transition programme which provides training and education for individuals with learning disabilities or significant additional support needs. The Coalyard provides an ideal environment to support people with disabilities in the workplace.

LCG have taken on the responsibility of the garden and raised beds to make the courtyard area welcoming for patrons and visitors using the Laundry and Tearoom services.

You are invited to join us for Afternoon Tea in the community garden. We’ll be set up and waiting from 1.30 pm and be finishing up at 3 pm. If you can make it along we will be pleased to see you.

We meet the 3rd Monday of the month at the Lighthouse on King St at 7.15. Please come along if you would be interested in joining us.
